About Me

I’m a life-long member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as the Activity Days leader in our ward for about three years.  Our ward Activity Days was organized in one big group for all age groups, and our activities were planned to accommodate the range of ages involved.

I tend to plan simple activities with the focus on the girls spending most of the time doing something.  My goal is to spend about 10 minutes at the beginning of the hour talking about the gospel principle involved, and then start the activity portion of the hour.  For resources, I turn to The Friend, LDS.org, and a couple of websites (listed under links) that have great ideas.  Another resource I have used is Great Ideas for Primary Activity Days by Trina Boice.
